Position summary
The Key Account Portfolio Director is responsible for managing key accounts within the Technology business resulting in license and service revenue and is accountable for maintaining a high-touch level of client interaction, ensuring the effective maintenance of client relationships and translating their needs internally. This role provides strategic and operational support for the Key Account Management matrix, and ultimately is responsible for client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
• Build and leverage successful enterprise-level relationships for iEnvision at key accounts, while working closely and successfully with internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for enterprise use of iEnvision adoption and value within designation accounts, and provide hand offs to Business Development.
• Participate as a credible “voice of the customer” by informing and partnering with product management and other portfolio leads discussing valuable new features and documentation that will enable customers to adopt iEnvision and gain additional value.
• Present and discuss the iEnvision strategy with internal and external senior level leaders and beyond.
• Understand and communicate iEnvision platform value to our customers
• Understand and keeps up-to-date on policies and trends that affect the organization and shape stakeholders’ views; is aware of the organization’s impact on the industry environment.
• Manage ETS license and service revenue to ensure maximum synergies and forecasting accuracy for designated accounts, meeting budget goals.
• Act as the point of escalation and lead the resolution of issues at key clients, via internal management procedures and/or client-facing initiatives -
• Implement a matrix account management approach working closely with Envision Technology Solutions (ETS) leaders to coordinate functional responsibilities ensuring client interactions and touch points are well understood, synchronized and productive.
• Design and deliver successful brand identity and client footprint for iEnvision.
• Build deeper senior medical network to help understand competitor landscape, value drivers and need for technological solutions.
Skills and experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience in project and/or account management.
• Prior external client-facing experience
• Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in Medical Affairs , Medical Communication or the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong technology skills with experience in training others in software.
• Travel profile up to 40%.
