Reporting to: Editorial Director
Location:   Thames Ditton, Surrey, with the option of home working 1 day a week after 3-6 months
Hours:   5 days per week (37.5 hours, part-time hours considered)

Our small-to-medium sized independent med comm agency (based in modern offices on the outskirts of SW London, in a Thames-side village setting) is looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to help lead and support a team of talented medical writers who work on one or more industry-supported med ed websites in specialized fields of haemato-oncology that target time-savvy treating HCPs and physicians.  

The websites aim to stay ahead of the curve, reporting highlights from the literature on a weekly basis, as well as drug approvals and guidelines, and with a strong focus on conference coverage and HCP and expert opinion engagement. Our success in developing these HCP-targeted websites has led to developing patient education resources for specific blood cancers, and attracting client work for our sister agency, for whom you would be act as a TA Champion in haemato-oncology. 

Successful candidates will have at least 10 years’ MW experience in 3-4 agencies and the demonstrable ability to inspire a team with your therapeutic knowledge and expertise in haemato-oncology, KOL engagement and interaction capabilities, and the skills, energy and resources to support the PhD-level team and transfer your knowledge of writer development, skills progression and how things work in the pharma med affairs/med-comms industry.
