Senior Account Manager (Analytical Chemistry), Central Manchester location, up to £45K

We have a chance to join a growing B2B communications agency in Manchester with a great range of amenities.


We are working with a successful communications agency to grow their team with the addition of an Account Manager, in response to experiencing a period of sustained growth - due to new client wins.

They are a full service agency with a great, collaborative team who are seeking a dynamic new member of their Client Services Team, to help deliver success for leading global clients who spearhead scientific innovation. Working closely with both clients and team members, this role will see you take ownership of your accounts - planning and delivering content and marketing campaigns, whilst building trusting client relationships. You''re proactive when it comes to immersing yourself in your client''s company, including understanding their competitors and industry, plus always working toward meeting their needs.


The role:
- Work closely with your clients and form a solid relationship and understand their goals and ambitions.
- Liaise with creatives, content writers and strategists on a daily basis.
- Write briefs and review work.
- One of your main accounts will be a well-known life sciences company based in the USA.
- Take ownership of your accounts.
- Work with clients to deliver their marketing needs and goals, including strategy development, messaging, positioning and branding.
- Tactical rollout via key channels and touch points which include UX, collateral, videos, events, web and PR.
- Motivate and inspire your team.
- Lead client meetings.
- Monitor campaign progress and regularly report to clients.
- Manage budget and finances.

Required:
- Chemistry degree with knowledge of analytical chemistry.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passion for marketing communications and a desire to stay up to date with new trends.
- Organised and comfortable running multiple projects.
- Confidence reviewing and editing scientific content.
- At least 2 years'' experience in a marketing or communications role.

Advantageous:
- Editorial and media planning background.
- Understanding of analysis and reporting.
- Digital knowledge and expertise.
