An attractive vacancy for a Scientific Team Lead to join an award-winning agency and lead a team of medical writers from both an editorial and strategic perspective.

The Role

An interesting and varied Scientific Team Lead vacancy, to manage the delivery of a range of high-quality medical communication materials

  • Lead and manage the medical writing team, providing strategic guidance across a range of accounts
  • Ensure editorial excellence across the full range of projects, including slide kits, meeting reports, websites and apps.
  • Co-ordinate with the design, production and account management teams for project delivery.
  • Develop specialist knowledge in certain therapy areas, and a thorough understanding of clients'' needs and objectives.
  • Recruitment of team members, training and mentoring the associate writers

You

A life sciences'' graduate with a passion for communicating high quality scientific messaging and materials.

  • Several years'' experience as a senior / principal medical writer
  • Proven line management experience who enjoys building and coaching high performing teams
  • Has an eye for detail when it comes to reviewing and referencing the work of medical writers
  • Comfortable working in partnership with clients to define their needs
  • Full understanding of industry regulations and guidelines underpinning medical communication activities.
