Due to strong organic growth across our existing accounts, we are now looking for Scientific Lead to join our talented team.
The core responsibilities of a Scientific Lead are to oversee and develop scientific content on assigned accounts and projects, ensuring strategic and tactical initiatives are implemented to the highest possible standard for our clients, and to liaise effectively with clients, external experts and authors to establish, develop and maintain strong relationships. A key focus will be on reviewing content developed by other team members – providing support, mentoring and constructive feedback to aid colleagues’ professional development and ensure quality standards are met, including line managing other team members where required. As a Scientific Lead at Helios, you will typically support two different accounts and/or clients, and be expected to provide senior level scientific, strategic and commercial expertise.
The Helios Scientific Lead role – what we are looking for:
· Life science / biological science degree is essential (minimum 2:1)
· Higher degree is preferable (PhD [preferred] or MSc)
· Medical agency writing experience is essential (minimum 4 years’ experience)
· Medical writing reviewing experience is essential
· Previous line management or mentoring experience is essential
· Excellent English language and grammatical skills
