Background:
A well-established Medical Communications agency has an opening for a Scientific Advisor within its team in London. This is an all-encompassing role working across a range of therapy areas and accounts and covering project management, content development, client liaison and new business.

You will be the scientific lead on key accounts and will play a central role in the successful development and delivery of client communication programmes. You will be responsible for developing briefs and project specifications for internal teams and freelancers and will be involved in mentoring and training staff. You will be responsible for writing, reviewing, editing and proof-reading copy and ensuring all outputs are scientifically accurate and meet industry compliance and Code of Practice requirements. You will also be tasked with developing relationships with clients and key opinion leaders and will provide scientific support for new business pitches and proposals.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

*Relevant experience at AM/SAM level gained from working in a med comms/med ed agency or relevant in-house pharma role
*Educated to degree level in Life Sciences (a PhD is highly desirable)
*Excellent writing credentials with experience producing scientifically accurate materials for a range of audiences
*Line management experience
*Strong research and analytical skills
