As Principal Scientific Writer your days will be varied and interesting and you will use your writing skills to the maximum from helping to publish new research to writing a presentation for an international launch. You’ll be the lead scientific content development and data expert for our most important accounts using your ability to quickly turn scientific data and clinical information into interesting and compelling content to raise awareness and understanding of healthcare issues.  You’ll be a trusted strategic advisor to clients and colleagues, enjoy contributing to high-level meetings, able to mentor junior members of staff and have the opportunity to travel internationally. 

Throughout your time at highfield:communication you’ll be supported by a great, close-knit team of talented and enthusiastic medical communication experts to ensure you enjoy every aspect of your job.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to BSc level (MSc or PhD an advantage), with a solid grounding in medical writing (minimum of 5 years’ agency experience, with 2 years at Senior Medical Writer level or above).  On a personal level we’re looking for a highly motivated team player, willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into help our team achieve the best for our clients.  You’ll also be able to manage and reprioritise your workload in step with our clients’ fast-moving needs and the ability to be multi-lingual would be advantageous but is not essential.
