Location: Oxford, with the option of some home working
Hours: 5 days per week (37.5 hours)

Would you like to become a key contact for clients and advisors, and be seen as their scientific expert? 


Due to new business wins, a great opportunity has arisen for a Principal Scientific Writer to join our expert team of medical communications consultants. The successful applicant will be the scientific content development lead and data expert on pivotal accounts and a key partner for our clients, advisors, and internal colleagues.

You will be qualified to BSc level (MSc or PhD an advantage), with a solid grounding in medical writing (minimum of 5 years’ agency experience, with 2 years at Senior Medical Writer level or above), and have the ambition to continually improve and refine your writing and content delivery to meet our exacting quality standards. 

You will have proven ability to quickly understand scientific data and be able to discuss these as a trusted partner and strategic advisor with our clients and expert faculty. You are a flexible team player who is able to efficiently manage and reprioritise your workload in step with our clients’ fast-moving and evolving projects and priorities. You have a keen interest in both the scientific and the brand-relevant/commercial aspects of medical communications and solid experience in both. You will be able to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and clinical experts and will be comfortable and confident in frequent virtual meetings, with the flexibility to travel internationally. 

The ability to communicate in multiple languages would be advantageous but is not essential.
