Due to sustained growth andsuccess, our client are seeking a number of experienced writers to join whohave a solid background in medical communications (related digital experienceis not fundamental).

 

The agency focuses on creatingbespoke digital projects for their clients which include big pharma, biotechpatient advocacy groups, and professional bodies.

·        Promotional- product websites,sales aids, digital banners. Medical Education- digital, e-learning, podcasts,webinars, events. Patient engagement- patient support websites, apps.

The Role

This role willinvolve creating a range of scientific assets efficiently, alongside workingcollaboratively across the company.

·        Producehigh-quality content including digital, print, and video to the appropriateaudience

·        Scientific knowledgeand understanding- terminology, scientific/medical concepts, study designs,statistical concepts

·        Interpret andexplain clinical data

·        Developstrategic plans

·        Performliterature research

·        Revise andrepurposes existing content

·        Work collaborativelywith other members of the team

·        Liaise withexternal contractors and suppliers

·        Coach andmentor junior team members when required

·        Attend newbusiness pitches

·        A supportivenetwork in place for you to develop new skills, from the Senior Medical Writerand Editorial Director

·        With a widerange of and projects, there will be an option for you to choose which team isthe best fit. Therapeutic areas include but not limited to cellular therapies,rare diseases, oncology, and rheumatology.

If you have priormedical writing experience from a medical communication agency and are now seekingan exciting new writing role where you can bring science to life, please apply.To be considered for this role you will have the following:

·        Life sciencedegree

·        2+ years ofexperience medical writing in a medical communications agency

·        Knowledge of industryguidelines (i.e. ABPI)

·        Broadtherapeutic area knowledge (oncology or psychiatry experience is desirable)

·        Experience inwriting medical content for digital assets for brand and medical educationteams (desirable)

·        Word,PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite proficiency

·        Writing fordigital assets, such as websites, apps, animations, and other videos(desirable)

·        Experience inthe development of brand messaging and content strategy (desirable)

·        Excellentattention to detail, can work to deadlines, team player, and a proactiveattitude with a willingness to learn/ develop new skills

·        Creative eye
