Background:

Our client is seeking a talented Publication Manager to join their team. You will work with an impressive portfolio of pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare technology clients. You are responsible for performing background literatureresearch and the subsequent preparation of high-quality, medically accuratedocuments, across a range of publication plans in differing therapy areas,addressing different target audiences through peer-reviewed literature.

 

Overview:

·        Responsible for writing high-quality,medically accurate documents in print or electronic format, for a wide range ofpublication planning programmes, addressing different target audiences.

·        Provide the highest standard ofscientific messaging, language, and style

·        Ensure all documents are wellorganized, consistent, and in compliance with applicable style guides, companySOPs, and regulations.

·        Good understanding of a broad range ofpublication planning projects, and rapidly assimilate new therapeuticarea/product knowledge.


 

Skills:

·        Ability to rapidly learn and apply knowledge inpreviously   unfamiliar therapy areas

·        Exceptional attention to detail

·        Experience in electronic publishing andmultimedia

·        The ability to run multiple parallel projects

·        Excellent command of the English language andoutstanding writing and communication skills

 

Qualifications and Experience:

·        PhD in life sciences (or relevant workexperience plus a bioscience degree)

·        Experience in professional medical writingwithin a medical communications agency, scientific or medical publishingcompany, or equivalent – a strong advantage!
