An exciting new opportunity has arisen at a growing healthcare agency on the outskirts of SW London, based in modern offices in a Thames-side village setting. If you are an experienced editor who is looking for a fresh new challenge, working on both client-led projects and medical education programmes, then this could be the role for you.
  • Independent medical communications agency specialising in HCP-led medical education programmes and client-led projects
  • Flat structure, open management style, sociable and amiable work colleagues, good work–life balance
  • A variety of medical education and pharma client materials to proof read and edit, working as part of the Medical & Scientific Services team
  • Interacting with Creative & Digital and Client Services teams
  • Staff work with quite a lot more autonomy than in most agencies
To be considered for this post, you must have a minimum of 1 year''s experience as an editor gained either in Medical Communications or Pharma
  • Demonstrable experience as a scientific copy-editor/production editor/editorial assistant, in a medical communications or STM publishing setting
  • Life science degree, with excellent command of English, scientific literacy, and understanding of writing for both HCP and patient/patient-advocate audiences
  • Excellent copy-editing and proof reading skills, with a keen eye for detail and flair for design and layout
  • Availability to work in the office 5 days’ a week (flexi working possible around core hours)
  • Ability to assist in maintaining compliance management of materials (such as slides, speaker briefs) and high-quality editing of web-based online articles and of publication and congress materials.
