Head of Operations, Senior Director level, state of the art facility, Biologics Manufacturing, Switzerland
My partner is an internationally renowned biologics manufacturer who is currently seeking to ramp up their manufacturing capabilities ten-fold at their state of the art site in Switzerland. Being the preferred manufacturer of choice to some of the largest names in Biotech, they are constantly expanding to meet the needs of their clients. On that basis, we need a highly experienced Head of Operations to help lead either Mammalian or Microbial Biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
You will have responsibility for operational capital investments to the site, acting as SME for evolving technologies and all aspects of human resource management.

As this position is senior within the company, you''ll be a part of the Manufacturing Leadership Team - driving department wide goals and strategy with respect with the overall goals of my partner.
What will you do?
- Work as operations lead in Capital investment projects for construction and commissioning of biopharma facilities.
- Define & set up the operations organization and respective headcount ramp-up plans.
- Drives the operational set-up and incorporating innovation, operational improvements and other aspects influencing the manufacturing costs in the design of the facilities.
- Manage a specific production unit during the initial engineering phase and give leadership to multi-disciplinary teams (Manufacturing, MSAT) of senior production leaders, managers or supervisors.
What do you need?
- Extensive experience in a leading position within the Biopharma manufacturing industry
- Expertise in GMP and bioprocess technologies
- Strong communication and organizational skills enabling you to present reports to relevant stakeholders and co-ordinate cross departmentally with various Heads of departments.
