You will love this role if you are passionate about science and communicating it in the right way, relish the challenges of being editorial lead on strategic global publications accounts and enjoy staying up to date with the latest scientific advances, are a proactive, self-motivated team leader who is keen to mentor and develop medical writers at various levels (SMW – AMW), enjoy working closely with clients and external experts to deliver top class scientific communications, have an incredible eye for detail and like working in a fast-paced environment, thrive on variety and are keen to work across different therapy areas, including oncology

You will be a success if you
  • Have previous experience of being the editorial lead on publications and/or medical education programmes
  • Have worked in a senior role in a medical communications agency, publishing house or pharmaceutical company
  • Have the ability to bring data to life through engaging and impactful communications
  • Are great communicator, can motivate a team, spot strengths and help identify and address areas of development to enable the team to excel
  • Thrive in an environment where collaborative work across agencies is valued
  • Are able to critique your work and the work of others to ensure that communications pieces are accurate and delivered to an exceptionally high standard that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Are self-driven, enthusiastic and are able to spot and convert opportunities to organically grow accounts in which you work
  • Are keen to put your expertise into new business pitches and proposals
  • Can develop and maintain relationships with clients and external experts and aren’t afraid to network
Can juggle and prioritise workload resulting in successful and timely delivery of projects
