About us

AMICULUM was established in 2001 when we set out to build an independent global healthcare communications agency from scratch. Our business has grown steadily year on year and now comprises over 310 talented healthcare communications professionals based in New Zealand, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, UK, Switzerland, UAE and the USA.

Our teams deliver highly specialized services, including medical communications, healthcare learning, clinical and commercial consultancy, market access, rare diseases and genomic medicine communications, as well as digital engagement to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

The opportunity

To support the growth of our global business, we are looking to hire a Singapore-based careers specialist who will look after our ongoing recruitment in Asia.  You will work effectively with hiring managers to support their recruitment needs, as well as with the wider team to develop academic outreach strategies and employer brand awareness in Asia.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing adverts and all incoming applications through MyCareersFuture

  • Identifying potential candidates from a wide variety of sources (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.) in response to specific client briefs

  • Evaluating applications, conducting career conversations and shortlisting for hiring projects

  • Contributing to the event planning and delivery, marketing and social media strategies specific to Asia and Australasia

  • Delivering a high-quality service to both internal hiring managers and candidates

About you

You may have worked as a recruitment consultant or resourcer, or you may have a mixture of in-house/agency/RPO recruitment or HR experience. Either way, it will be your priority to deliver an exceptional client and candidate experience.

Ideally, you will have an understanding of the life-sciences recruitment market, and Mandarin-language skills are desirable, but not essential.

You will reflect the key attributes that we look for in all colleagues, which are:

  • Intellectual curiosity: you will have a good academic record and a degree-level qualification (life sciences preferred, but not essential)

  • Teamwork and collaboration: you will be an enthusiastic team member, collaborating with colleagues both locally and internationally to deliver industry-leading service to both job applicants and your internal clients

  • An exceptional eye for detail: you will be passionate about the technical accuracy of your work

  • Accountability and responsibility: you will take responsibility for your workload and deadlines

Why work at AMICULUM?

We are proud to be a flexible and inclusive employer that provides a supportive working environment. We are committed to developing the careers of our team members and encourage colleagues to create their own career path: we are a job-title-free business that offers progression based on knowledge, skills and ambition. We value creativity and encourage colleagues to offer ideas that further the success of our business; in return, we offer competitive salaries and a great benefits package, which includes two annual bonus schemes.

How to apply

We ask that all applicants supply a CV and covering letter in support of their application, detailing their experience and interest in working at AMICULUM.

Please note: due to the nature of this role, we can only consider applications from Singaporean nationals
