Background:

Our client is a successful international medical communications agency with offices in Europe and the US. As one of the fastest growing agencies in London, they are looking for an Account Manger to join their vibrant team.

In this role you will be running daily accounts and working with the development and execution of medical communications programmes. Whilst building and maintaining great relationships with your clients, you will be also be able to work with developing new business ideas with them. With their medical communication and medical PR team working closely, you benefit from exploring other areas of the marketing mix. They work as a meritocracy, so career progression is based on your contribution and efforts.

All members of the team receive a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical cover, discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday (plus bank hols), travel insurance competitive pension, and regular awards.  In addition, they offer a season ticket loan, wellness programme after 1 year, cycle to work scheme, childcare vouchers, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of day-to-day accounts as key client contact
  • Team management and coaching
  • As part of a team, new business development with existing clients
  • Keeping abreast of current events, trends and issues and the impact on the industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good life sciences degree
  • Significant previous relevant agency experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
  • Creative, flexible, and a problem solver

You will also be able to share your personal area of expertise with others through interactive internal training sessions and further develop your areas of interest through formal and informal training.
