The Position:

The position is for a Senior Account Manager or AccountDirector leading our one of our Direct-to-Vet Pet Food Accounts.  The role will report directly into the Group Account Director who is leading the Team.

As Account Director, you are the day-to-day client lead,responsible for the efficient running of the account and the rest of the teamworking alongside you.

You will learn your clients’ business inside out, understanding the key challenges and opportunities facing their businesses and establishing good relationships across all levels of the client team.

You have the ability to lead projects autonomously, with a full grasp of how to plan for and manage everything from resourcing to finance.

The role requires EU travel at a minimum of once per month. 


Who are you?

We are looking to recruit an Senior Account Manager/Account Director with an education and / or experience in Veterinary Medicine to work in collaboration and partnership to deliver for a Brand Team who are also Vets.


The ideal candidate will have an understanding of marketing– both offline and digital.  An interest in working as part of a strong Agency Team to find ways to speak to Vets andother Customers in a creative and compelling way is key. 

Some background knowledge in Agency Ways of Working is preferred. 

You love working as part of a Team in a creative environment.

You will have a can-do, go-getter attitude which will be recognisable even at the point of interview. 

You possess a global point of view and are curious about other cultures.

Both the Agency and the Client Team are looking for a partner with a strong point of view and true sense of team-spirit.


What you need to haveunder your belt:


  • Strong understanding of strategy and creative output, and comfortable leading these conversations internally and with clients
  • Education and / or experience in Veterinary Medicine
  • Experience in liaising with all departments in the business including Production, Finance and HR
  • Experience in managing forecasts and budgets
  • Exposure and proven ability in people management – interviewing, reviews, mentoring, etc.
  • Sufficient life experience under your belt to enable you to make good judgement calls and make good decisions
  • Proficiency in languages other than English is not required, but a big plus.
