7.4 is a thriving business and we are looking for a trainee medical writer to join our talented team in Oxford. No previous medical communications agency experience is required as you will be joining an established team keen to support your development.


Key responsibilities

 

  • Generate captivating content that is scientifically accurate and aligned with client objectives
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of product and competitor data
  • Keep abreast of scientific developments in relevant therapy areas
  • Build positive relationships with leading clinicians from around the world
  • Provide scientific input and insight to clients and internal account teams
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, within agreed timelines and budgets


Qualifications/skills


  • A first degree in a biomedical science. A research-based degree (MSc or PhD) is an advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to transform complex scientific information into clear, accurate and engaging content


Personal characteristics


  • An analytical approach and a passion for science and healthcare-related topics
  • Ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues to generate proactive ideas and creative input
  • A desire to do things unusually well
