Job Details:
Helios Medical Communications is a thriving full-service independent global healthcare communications and strategic consultancy agency.

We are looking for a Scientific Project Co-ordinator to join our talented team.

The core responsibility of a Scientific Project Co-ordinator is to provide effective administrative and project-related support to account teams, and assist in the development of scientific/editorial content (medical writing). The focus of the role is more on the project management side of medical communications, providing support across various client accounts by developing and maintaining trackers and timelines, liaising with clients, external experts and suppliers in the delivery of projects, referencing and data-checking scientific outputs, as well attending client meetings and teleconferences, where required. You will also develop scientific content across a wide range of deliverables (eg publications, slide decks, training materials etc).

As a Scientific Project Co-ordinator at Helios, you will typically support two different accounts and/or clients to ensure a broad foundation in medical communications.  Subsequent career development opportunities from this role include both the scientific project leading (account management) and medical writing aspects of medical communications.

The Helios Scientific Project Co-ordinator role: what we are looking for:

·  Life science/biological degree is essential (minimum of a 2:1)
·  Higher degree is preferable (PhD [preferred] or MSc)
·  Administrative experience is desirable
·  Excellent English language and grammatical skills
·  Effective teamwork
·  Time management skills
·  Problem solving skills
·  Communication skills
·  Attention to detail

Training and personal development are important parts of working at Helios. There is a lot to learn in the world of medical communications, so we offer core inductions and training to all new members. We also know that everyone learns in different ways and at different speeds, so our on-the-job training and development is bespoke to you. New training is offered on a one-to-one and ongoing basis, as needs arise.

If you are looking for a rewarding career, where you can make a real difference, where no 2 days are the same and where you will be challenged and stretched in a dynamic, yet supportive team environment, please apply for this role.

Please forward your CV and covering letter to info@heliosmedcomms.com
