Background:
Medical writing is a broad term that spans the preparation of scientific abstracts and peer-reviewed papers through to slide kits, video scripts and website content. As a Medical Writer you will produce materials across the entire range, translating medical and scientific knowledge into impactful communications.

Role:

- To research, write, edit and prepare high-quality material for a variety of projects, ensuring each item is developed:
- within the specified number of hours and to agreed timelines
- according to the brief/to meet marketing objectives
- to appropriate length and style
- with correct use of English
- with scientific accuracy
- To liaise with clients, authors and colleagues to progress projects effectively
- To input on project specifications, costings and schedules, working with the internal account team to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget
- To provide good briefings to colleagues and freelancers
- To attend congresses, symposia and advisory board meetings as required and liaise with speakers and clients
- To actively participate in account development meetings to grow repeat business

Experience:
- PhD in a life science, Post Doc experience preferred
- Experience in respiratory medicine and/or oncology an advantage
