A full service Medical Communications agency based in London is looking to hire an experienced Senior Medical Writer with an agency background. They are winning more and more new business and need extra support within their Editorial team.
As Senior Medical Writer, your role would be to write and manage editorial projects, ensuring that they are of the highest standards, working to time, budget and client requirements, liaising with the client throughout the project. Your main responsibilities, in addition to writing, editing and proofreading to ensure all content is scientifically accurate, are to liaise internally with other departments and externally with the client to ensure the projects are running smoothly. You will also be expected to mentor more junior writers within the team, overseeing the quality and deliver of their work.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:
- A BSc or ideally a PhD or advanced qualification within life sciences
- Significant experience as a medical writer within a medical communications agency
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, motivated, team player with mentoring experience
