Background:
A successful independently owned medical communications consultancy with an excellent reputation in the industry has an opportunity for an experienced medical communications professional.
The successful candidate will act as the lead writer and plan manager for an ongoing type II diabetes publication plan.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of writing experience gained within the medical communications industry coupled with a biomedical science degree and PhD. Publication plan management experience and CMPP qualification is also desirable. The successful candidate will have broad experience of different medical communication project types but will have particular strength in delivery of peer review manuscripts and advisory board summaries. Knowledge of the diabetes therapy area is essential. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, key opinion leaders and internal colleagues, and excellent time management skills are highly desired for this position.
