Background:
A successful Healthcare Communications group based in the South West London with is looking for a Medical Projects Manager to join their expanding team. The right candidate will be responsible for the account handling on designated projects, with therapy areas including oncology, diabetes, GI and rheumatology among others. Due to the scientific knowledge required for this role, successful applicants will have attained science based academic success via a BSc or higher.

This position is very much a dual role between account management and medical writing, it is vital that candidates possess a very strong science background with previous experience of medical writing across a number of therapy areas being advantageous. The client is happy to consider candidates already working within a healthcare communications agency in a similar role or from those with a strong scientific background who are looking to broaden their horizons and develop a client services bow and people such as pharmacists, who with an exposure to a large variety of different drugs would be well versed in a number of different therapy areas.

This position represents a fantastic opportunity for someone already within the sector to progress their career within med comms or for someone with a successful scientific career to enter an industry where not only can they use and develop their scientific knowledge but also get the opportunity to communicate directly with clients and run projects from an editorial and commercial aspect.

In return the agency is offering a salary between £38K - £45K per annum (although they are open to negotiation for exceptional candidates,) and excellent benefits.
