We are currently working with a large global pharmaceutical services company on the recruitment of an experienced medical writer to come on board and research, prepare and evaluate data to inform feasibility reports, proposals and bid defence presentations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced medical writer to apply their experience within a new kind of medical writing position.
The main focus of this position will be working independently to put together feasibility reports, proposal and bid defence presentations, whilst also acting as key of the overall proposals team. The role will involve analysing complex clinical data to support your work, so you''ll remain very much focussed on science, but your work will have an additional element that you won''t find within roles in med comms or regulatory/clinical medical writing. It''s important to say that working in this kind of role won''t mean taking a step back if you wanted to return to other kinds of medical writing in the future - indeed we know a few medical writers who have worked in this kind of role and then years down the line returned to med comms. But it does mean that the candidates in question have a more varied skill set that makes them an especially appealing prospect for hiring managers.
To be considered for this position it will be necessary to have a very strong background of working as a medical writer.
