The global leader in healthcare communications is looking for a Client Service Director to join its London or New York office to head up one of its very successful business units. In the role of Client Service Director you will be leading a team of account executives/managers/directors and medical writers that work on international accounts with leading global pharmaceutical companies. You will report to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will think strategically, deliver projects effectively in a cost conscious manner and have the ability to lead and motivate a team.
You must have at least a BSc in a biological science, while a PhD is advantageous but not a requirement. You should have ideally a minimum of 5-6 years experience within a well respected healthcare communications agency and management experience is crucial. You must have the ability to get to grips with therapy areas outside of your particular expertise quickly, deliver on projects effectively, meet deadlines, grow your accounts organically and have excellent management and interpersonal skills. You must have a sound financial awareness as it will be your responsibility to ensure your team delivers or breaks its forecast. You will be expected to work with the Managing Director on new business pitches and should therefore have extensive experience in pulling pitches together and have strong presentation skills.
