We are also seeking Account manager and Account Director for this new team.

Our client is a newly formed group of established med comm agencies; one is a recognised PR agency based in London and the other two are leading Medical Education and Advertsing agencies based in Berkshire/Buckinghamshire who are looking for a Business Unit Director for a newly formed team.

It''s a brand new team and massive new account with the potential to grow the team from scratch. Its Medical Educaion focused and will require someone with a good commercial background in medical education. The role could be seen as two things; either a step for a Senior account Director to run their own unit and grow it, or an established CSD/BUD to come in with their wealth of experience.

The salary bands are very open and could be from 70k-90k depending on person''s current package and experience.

The successful candidate will need to lead the business unit, and will immediately be tasked with recruiting two, Account Managers/Directors. Also the medical education team sits within an ad agency so there will be a lot creative work going on around you and a time where you will be able to interact with their services. However, do not panic this as this is still part of the medical education high science side and just down the road is where the Medical education agency is with a wealth of experience and physicians that have been with business over 15 Years. So it is true medical education and high science people you will be working with but a new team being launched in the ad agency offices.

This candidate will need to be a natural leader, strong and a good relationship builder. Alongside that, they are looking for someone who will have the overall responsibility for the performance of all allocated accounts: financial performance; defining the strategic direction; delivering all initiatives on time and on budget; ongoing evaluation of deliverables; proactively recommending new business opportunities.

This is a big role, for a big person. Someone who has experience in the pharma market, with senior account management, a successful track record of people management and most importantly a pro-active team player.
