Background:
Our client is a leading Medical Education and Communication company, they are seeking a Business Unit Director for their Buckinghamshire site. This is an excitng period of growth for a new communications group. The division is 40 strong and the specialist Medical Educatioin Arm, with a big focus in the Oncology side.

The Group also hold within a seperate Advertsing agency and PR Agency both of similar size but in seperate locations. The Group overall is around 100 staff and really at the start of their evolution, its a great time to join a new excitng group and really be part f the strategy and business venture!

JOB ROLE: The Business Unit Managers will lead the medical education team in all aspects of the planning and delivery of the client''s medical education service.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
To identify, promote and ensure adherence to best-practice working in the team and in their interaction with other internal teams
To identify areas of weakness / key issues and to plan and implement remedial strategies, as appropriate Lead the continued strategic appraisal of all accounts, with clear identification of new business opportunities within those accounts and amongst potential new clients
Working alongside the management team to shape the departmental and company strategy on an ongoing basis
Overall responsibility for the performance of all allocated accounts: financial performance; defining the strategic direction; delivering all initiatives on time and on budget; ongoing evaluation of deliverables; proactively recommending new business opportunities
Play an active role in the management team to support best practice, develop new ideas

THE PERSON: The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Senior Account Management or Pharmaceutical marketing, this role is an important management position and you will take full ownership for the deliver of all business relating to your accounts
