My client is a successful specialist healthcare communication and consultancy group. They are currently recruiting a Business Director for their new start up in Dubai. The start-up team will comprise a Scientific Director who has joined in July 2012 and the new Business Director.
They have three main hubs in this region, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Eygpt, they are currently focusing on the Dubai hub
To drive new business development
Drive P&L for the operations including contract/fee negotiations.
To lead Dubai team ( Scientific Director)
To provide medical communication solutions for clients. (Scientific Events, CMEs, Educational websites, Publication and Manuscript writing, KOL management etc)
Manage all client relationships
Inspires confidence to the whole agency and demonstrates clear leadership and strategic vision and direction
Coordinate with other global members of the organization for optimum results and best practices
Skills & Experience;
MEDCOMS Agency experience essential
Experience in building a start-up would be an advantage
Prior experience in the region would be useful
Understanding of all facets of Medical communication including digital formats and services is necessary
Experience in handling large strategic initiatives for Pharma clients
Proven success demonstrating solid financial acumen by establishing accurate pipeline forecasts, developing and managing large budgets, ensuring appropriate staffing while managing a profitable business portfolio
Success relationship management of senior level clients across a range of accounts
