Background:We have an immediate opening for an Account Manager to support several global pharma companies and the communications around a variety of blockbuster drugs.
This role will involve working on UK, pan-European and global accounts, with collaborative teams to develop integrated solutions across traditional, digital, experiential and mobile channels to drive successful marketing and communications programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of external and internal campaigns; strategic communications; building long-standing relationships with clients and colleagues across the network; leading junior members of the team and working with the senior management team on new business initiatives.
Responsibilities include:

Support the development of overarching strategy to accomplish client objectives and coordinating implementation.

Support the development of client proposals and media materials: plans, presentations, reports, communications documents.

Contribute to the management of client budgets; oversee the client budget development, tracking, billing and communications.

Provide proactive media counsel and support media strategy development, outreach and analysis; develop recommendations targeting trade, general media and online media channels.

Coordination with team (which may include other FH offices) to research and create communication programs.

Set timelines and budgets, managing projects through strategy and execution. This may include management of design and technical development resources against the project, ensuring that tasks are done on time, on budget and meet or exceed client expectations.

Participate in new business and marketing for the healthcare practice, including proposal and plan development, pitches and relevant speaking engagements.

Work closely with senior account leaders and client relationship managers to keep them fully briefed on account status, opportunities and issues that may affect the business.
Key skills/knowledge areas:

Expertise in healthcare PR/comms experience essential, preferably within an agency environment.

Corporate reputation management, brand building campaigns, thought leadership programmes, internal communications, change management and/or public affairs campaigns are a strong asset in this role.

Skilled at applied strategic thinking; anticipating issues, trends, and connections, and translating those insights into actionable ideas for the client.

Ability to build strong relationships within clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Experience of providing proactive digital counsel and creative recommendations.

Strong organisation and project management skills; ability to juggle, think quickly and make independent decisions.
