A very successful Medical Communications agency in Central London is looking for a Senior Account Director / Associate Director to jointheir team due to an ever expanding workload. The agency is part of a groupconsisting of three medical communications agencies which have been growing year on year and grew by 50% in 2011 alone. They offer an exciting portfolio of clients and products as they work with all the top five big pharmaceutical companies on a worldwide basis and are currently in the privileged position ofworking on a number of first in class, blockbuster products.
They are looking for a science graduate who has a proven success with the top 20 pharma clients’ global accounts including strategicaccounts. The ideal candidate will have operated for a minimum of 7 yearswithin global or UK medical communications and have experience of handling £1M+accounts. The role will involve supervising/managingmembers of the commercial team who are responsive to client needs in terms ofskill level and delivery of projects and programmes to the highest possible standards of client satisfaction to achieve this goal. This will include ensuring an effective interface between operational areas of the business (such as Creative Services) and integration of assigned editorial resources. The will also be an expectation to help drive new and existing business development andas a result experience within this field is essential.
